Priorities are fun
So, normally on Wednesdays I have my lesson. Today, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, it was canceled. Normally, one should think, “Hey, awesome! Now I have a free hour to practice.” Right? Right?
Nope.
Instead, I’m outlining my very first drumline handbook. You’d think that after teaching drums for 4 years now, I’d have one by now, but I don’t. I’ve always just kinda coasted and improvised, but I think it’s time to move away from that. This is also about accountability, for myself and my students.
